BarnTools is looking for an experienced Director of Sales to build, grow, and lead a sales team across the swine and poultry industry in the USA and in Canada. We need a self-starting professional who has done this before with proven success in growing and leading sales. Barntools is a Software-as-a-Service platform.
We are a remote-first company, so location is not important, though we would prefer this person to
reside in the Midwest where most of the industry conducts their business.

Product Portfolio – Establish customer feedback channels and analyze customer behavioral data to learn and recommend future features and products to the market. Competitive profile – Comparison and contrast key competitors (Tire chart) Pitch – What is the clear, concise, and comprehensive pitch for the product(s) Pricing – Understand your current pricing structure Brand culture – What are the cultural brand attributes that will set BarnTools products and people apart from the competition
Core team scope outlining roles, responsibilities, budget, KPIs for sales team. Define team needs, roles, responsibilities, and organizational structure
Account archetype targeting – Define type of accounts will be targeted initially Support – Define what sales support materials, training, and service support will need to be in place Budget – What will it cost to hire, onboard, and activate the core team?
Capacity to manage various projects and work to tight deadlines. Excellent negotiation and leadership skills Outstanding written and verbal communication skills. Swine industry experience strongly preferred. Experience in SaaS industry A minimum of 5 years’ experience in a similar role. In-depth knowledge of sales techniques and best practices.
