How it fits into the alarm platform:
Connects wirelessly to the BarnTalk Gateway. The dry contact sensor should be placed within ~700 feet of the BarnTalk Gateway. On multi-barn sites, the dry contact sensor’s range can often extend across multiple buildings depending on proximity.

BarnTalk is the only wireless barn alarm with certified multi-carrier connectivity built right into the system. Once you plug the BarnTalk Gateway into power, it connects to the strongest local cell tower, regardless of carrier, eliminating the need for a landline, WiFi, or hotspot. BarnTalk sends alarms via push notification, SMS text message or phone call based on the user’s preferences. For optimal alarms and monitoring, you’ll need a BarnTalk subscription. This subscription covers connectivity and data costs.

The sensors all have lithium-ion batteries inside of them with a 2-3 year battery life. The water meter has an 8+ year battery life.
Receive alarms via text message, phone call, or push notification from the app. All alarms can be acknowledged in the BarnTalk app by touching the “Attend to Alarm” button. You can also resolve alarms via the keypad on your phone.
Yes. If you don’t want to be alerted — including when you're washing out barns or moving out animals, you can toggle off your threshold settings or silence your Gateway's alarms altogether.
Yes. BarnTalk’s 24+ hour backup battery ensures you can receive alarms and view conditions even when you’ve lost power.
There is no limit to how many people you add to your CallTree. They just need to be a contact in your phone to add them in. The contacts you add will be notified in the order of the CallTree when barn conditions fall outside of the norm.
